我们将艺术写作视为另一种知识生产的方式，它挑战学术体系、官方的论述中稳固且成熟的知识，将知识从词语的藩篱中解放，与读者并肩写作。
    
这本书的组合和排列方式如一个玩水的孩童在闲暇之余的梦呓，将看似遥远和漂浮的故事联系在一起。词语将不同的视角、讯息、资料轻轻搅合，由一处毫无预兆般跳跃至另一处，我们邀请读者在其中摸索出一条自己的叙事。
    
基础设施的研究如一台人类世的挖掘机，我们面对沉重且庞大的事物，在铁与火与土之间深挖表层之下的地基。它们无趣、古板又沉默，是城市生活里上最容易被人忽略的庞然巨物。但对我们来说，庞大无言之物是人类世界运行方式的重要媒介，它们与世界的互动令人为之着迷。
    
我们拒绝那些昏昏欲睡、言之无物的决策者视角，拒绝学术化的扁平词汇，我们尝试去触碰世界的温度、材料、光线、风所带来的感受，渴望了解不同能动者（植物、动物）的呼吸、感官以及那些微妙的情绪。
    
这本书也展现了一个普通人，凭借着本能的好奇和探索，如何在后真相时代的信息洪流中寻找自己的视角和语境，同时试图打破目前知识生产的困境。

We regard artistic writing as another possibility for knowledge production, one that challenges current academic systems. It liberates knowledge from the confines of words, inviting readers to write alongside us.

The arrangement and composition of this book resemble the idle murmurs of a child at leisure, stitching together stories that seem distant and unanchored. Words gently stir different perspectives, messages, and information, leaping from one place to another. We invite the reader to weave their own narrative within these meanderings.

Infrastructure research is like an excavator in the Anthropocene, digging deep into the foundations that lie beneath the iron, fire, and earth. These structures are often perceived as dull and silent—gigantic entities that easily go unnoticed in the fabric of urban life. Yet, to us, these mute giants are crucial mediators of how the human world functions. Their interactions with the world are a source of endless fascination.

We reject the dull, vacuous perspectives of decision-makers and the flattened language of academia. We strive to touch the warmth, the materiality, the light, and the wind that the world offers. We yearn to understand the breath, the senses, and the subtle emotions of various agents—plants, animals—that share this space with us.

This zine also illuminates how an ordinary person, driven by instinctive curiosity and exploration, navigates the deluge of information in the post-truth era to find their own perspective and context. At the same time, it questions the dilemmas inherent in the production of knowledge.
